Belligerent Poetry

I'm feeling better

one month & i'll be
somewhere else completely
leaving all i see
stepping out entirely
no more quiet afternoons
with amit, kate
no more saikyo line
taking me to dates
no more farewell parties while i stay
no more clubbing till the next day
all the pieces lie in place
holding up this life this space
i'll slowly sneak & replace
each one with emptiness.
