just another day

on a train to Shinjuku
to meet leslie
see what the day will dispatch
to handle us.

woke at ten this morning
shrugged, rolled &
woke again at noon, refreshed & godblessed
talked and read
sat, thought and drank coffee
went running, did laundry
trash and vacuuming
showed erin my home
& seth's note

and thought
about music
till you called me...
